George VandeKuyt

George VandeKuyt passed away peacefully on July 14, 2026, at the age of 79. He was the beloved husband of Liz, nee Ypma, for 54 years, and father of Geoff, Henry, who predeceased him in 2023, and Karen, Mike, Cindy and Ben Bartels, Rob and Krista, and Andrew and Kim. George is also survived by his siblings, nieces, and nephews, as well as 20 grandchildren and their spouses and 7 great-grandchildren. Alongside his wife Liz, George was a retired owner of Acer Garden Center in Ancaster. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at Immanuel Christian Reformed Church, where a Memorial Service will take place on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 11 a.m., officiated by Reverend Michael Bootsma. A reception will follow, and a private family Interment Service will be held at Carluke White Church Cemetery.
