DOROTHY CAROL LOOKER

Dorothy Carol Looker (nee Fee) passed away peacefully at home in Washago, ON, surrounded by her family, on March 19, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on November 23, 1936, in Collingwood Township, Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late Fred Looker (deceased 2022). She was a loving and devoted mother to Peter (deceased 2019; Nancy) of York, SC; Glenn (Ann) of Dunkirk, MD; Maureen (deceased 1964); Colleen (Steve) of Guelph, ON; and Andrew (Debra) of Kingwood, TX. She was a proud grandmother of eight and great-grandmother of seven. She was predeceased by her sister, Lois (2004), and is lovingly remembered by her sister, Lucille, as well as many nieces and nephews. A graduate of the Women's College Hospital School of Nursing in Toronto in 1957, Dorothy enjoyed a fulfilling career in obstetrics, working across Ontario and California. In 1977, she chose to dedicate herself fully to raising her family—a role she embraced with unwavering love and commitment. Dorothy deeply valued the lifelong friendships she formed with her nursing classmates, neighbours, and fellow church parishioners. Dorothy and Fred also had a passion for boating and were proud members of the Guelph Power Squadron. Private services will be held.
