Patricia "Patty" (nee Brooks) VAN EVERA

Patricia 'Patty' Van Evera, formerly of Toronto, passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 87. Born Patricia Brooks, she was the beloved mother of Tracy, cherished grandmother of Ashley and Richard, treasured great-grandmother of Abigail, Valerie, and Noah, dear sister of Gordy and the late Bonnie, loving aunt of Dave, Jeremy, Jennifer, Roly, and Amanda, and fondly remembered by her extended family and many friends. Patty had a distinguished singing career in show business, performing with notable artists and establishing herself as a sought-after backup singer in Toronto. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach. A Celebration of Patty's life will be planned for a later date, with details to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation for Campbell House Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
