Adrian Marinus Dendekker ("Marvin")
Adrian Marinus Dendekker, known as Marvin, passed away on May 13, 2026, at the age of 74. Born on December 31, 1951, he was the youngest of 10 children. Marvin is survived by his loving wife Anne-Marie, with whom he shared 30 years of marriage, as well as his son Nicholas Dendekker and his wife Miranda, his daughter Rose Rupke and her husband Joel, and his three grandsons, Kodi, Luke, and Owen. He will also be greatly missed by many extended family members. Marvin dedicated over 40 years to the automotive industry, with the past 26 years at Flex-N-Gate. A visitation for relatives and friends will be held on May 18, 2026, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home in Royal Oak, Michigan, and on May 19, 2026, from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Victoria Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Oldcastle, Ontario. The funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. on May 20, 2026, at Heritage Park Alliance Church in Lasalle, Ontario, with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Oldcastle, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Royal Oak Church in Royal Oak, Michigan, or Maranatha Christian Academy in Windsor, Ontario.
