Orlan G Martin

Orlan G Martin passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, June 1, 2026, at the age of 87 years. He was the beloved husband of Salome (Martin) Martin. Orlan was the father of Anna (Allen) Gingrich of Drayton, James (Fern) Martin, Paul (Martha) Martin, both of Listowel, Cleason (Louella) Martin of Wallenstein, and Naomi (Lloyd) Horst of Elmira. He will be missed by 43 grandchildren and 84 great-grandchildren. Orlan is survived by his siblings Laurene (Clarence, 2023) Martin, Louida (Mahlon) Martin, Ibra (Lena) Martin, and sister-in-law Minerva Martin. He was predeceased by his parents Tobias and Lydia (Gingrich) Martin, siblings Vera Martin, Milton (Annie) Martin, Nora Martin, Urias Martin, Ida Martin, Nelson Martin, and son-in-law Edward Martin. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. and on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, from 2-5 p.m. at the home of Cleason and Louella Martin, 3880 Posey Line, Wallenstein. A family service will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 9 a.m., then to Peel Mennonite Meeting House for burial and public service.
