Marion Theresa (nee O'Donnell) COOPER

Marion Theresa Cooper (nee O'Donnell) passed away on April 22, 2026, at the age of 68 at Chapman House hospice in Owen Sound, Ontario. She was the loving wife of Alex for 44 years and the proud mother of Brendan (Pamela), Alan, Thomas (Megan), Rory (Cassie), Riley (Ellie), and Dylan (Kathy). Marion was a grandmother to seven grandchildren: Jackson, Avia, Henry, Benjamin, Jameson, Beckham, and Finley. She is survived by her four brothers, Brendan, Kevin (Stephanie), Brian (Kathy), and Kieran (Christy), and many nieces and nephews. Marion was predeceased by her father, Sean (1979); mother, Nora (2025); and parents-in-law, Douglas (1982) and Margaret (2008), as well as godchildren Eli and Kiera. A dedicated nurse, Marion worked in various locations, including North Carolina, Hamilton, London, Hazelton, BC, Brantford, Walkerton, and Owen Sound, and since 2009, as a lactation consultant and diabetes educator with the Brockton Area Family Health Team. Marion was also the owner of the MOMS UNIQUE FINDS store in Walkerton. Visitation will be held at Cameron Funeral Home in Walkerton on Thursday, May 21, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., and a funeral mass will take place on Friday, May 22, at Sacred Heart Church.
