June Irene SUESS (nee Marr)

June Irene Suess, nee Marr, of Wainfleet, passed away peacefully at the Welland County General Hospital on August 1, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on November 16, 1943, in Winger, June was predeceased by her husband, John 'Jack' Suess, in 2020. She is survived by her children, David, Sherrie, and Tracy, and their spouses, as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. June was also predeceased by her grandson, Robert Fulbrook, in 2000, and her son-in-law, Pete Fulbrook, in 2012. She is survived by her siblings, Ken Marr and Shirley Collins. June spent 36 years driving school buses and was a member of the Wainfleet Firefighters Ladies Auxiliary and other community groups. A Celebration of Life will be held on August 6, 2026, at Christ Church Wainfleet, followed by interment at Zion Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Wainfleet Volunteer Firefighters Association Christmas Basket Program.
