George A. WARKENTIN

George A. Warkentin passed away on February 4, 2016. He is survived by his wife, Joan Marie Warkentin; brother, Rudy Warkentin and sister-in-law, Joan Carol Warkentin; sons, Mike Warkentin and Elizabeth Murduff, Kevin Warkentin and Cynthia Warkentin, Terry Warkentin and Sharon Warkentin; and granddaughters, Justina Murchie and Eric, Kelsey Warkentin. He was predeceased by his son, Mark, and brothers, Jake and John Warkentin. The family would like to thank the staff at Portal Village retirement home in Port Colborne and the doctors, nurses, and staff at Welland Hospital Woolcott Wing for their care. A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. till 12:45 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 13, 2026, at the Be in Christ Church in Wainfleet. In lieu of flowers, donations to a favourite charity would have been appreciated. Arrangements are entrusted to Ballard Minor Funeral Home.
