Jean EATON

Jean Eaton passed away peacefully on June 26, 2026, at the age of 92. She is survived by her daughters, Susan and Anne, and their husbands, Michael and John, as well as her grandchildren, Lily, Joe, Emelyne, and Grace, and her niece and nephews. Jean had a distinguished teaching career with the Niagara South District School Board and the District School Board of Niagara, where she taught Kindergarten and grades one and two. After retiring, she continued to serve her community through volunteer work with Community Care, RAFT, and the Church of the Transfiguration. A funeral service will be held at the Church of the Transfiguration in St. Catharines on August 17, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., followed by a light reception. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Church of the Transfiguration or the Education Foundation of Niagara.
