JANICE ANN RYAN-WHITTON

Janice Ann Ryan-Whitton (née Ryan) passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at the age of 88, at her residence, the United Mennonite Home in Vineland. Born on July 23, 1937, Janice was raised in Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, Montreal, QC. She is reunited with her beloved husband, Jim (James) Whitton. Janice will be lovingly remembered by her children, Trisha (Stephen), Tim (Jamie), Kevin, Erin, and Séan; her grandchildren, Jason, Alexa, Tomas, David (Sonja), James (Claire), Jonathan (Megan), Kaila (Camille), Kieran (Clarissa), Jordan (Robyn), Jessica (Paul), and Mitchell (Brooke); and her great-grandchildren, Lylah, Cayden, Hazel, Sorin, Rosie, Benji, Chloe, Elodie, Oliver, Hazel, and Asher. Janice will also be dearly missed by her siblings, D'Arcy, Terry, Pat, Alannah, and her extended family, including Maia, Joanne, and AnneMarie, her friends, and former students. A celebration of Janice's life will be held in Mississauga at a later date.
