Glennis Georgina FERGUSON

It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Glennis Georgina Ferguson (née Sutherland) on August 31, 2026, at St. Peter's Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario. Born on March 27, 1945, in Hamilton, Glennis lived a life filled with warmth, music, and laughter. She is survived by her devoted husband, Robert Wallace Ferguson, and her beloved children, Mary Stafford (Trevor) and Robert Ferguson. Glennis was a proud grandmother to Jack and Paisley Cliffe, who brought her immense joy. Predeceased by her parents and sister, she leaves behind cherished memories. A dedicated employee at Hayes Dana, she enjoyed a vibrant retirement, particularly at the YMCA Niagara West in Grimsby, where she formed lasting friendships through aquafit classes. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Niagara West YMCA in her memory.
