Alvin R. Isaac
Alvin R. Isaac passed away on February 25, 2026, at the age of 89. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of almost 58 years, Allyne Isaac (Friesen), and his beloved sons Christopher (Susan) Isaac and Craig (Elizabeth) Isaak. Al adored his grandchildren, Rebekah Isaak, Emma (Dwayne) Greenough, Cole Isaak, William Isaac, Caroline Isaak, and Myles Isaak, and spoiled them whenever he could. He leaves behind his sister, Ruth (Don) Boese, and his brothers, Vern (Betty) Isaak and Larry Boese. Al was also a much-loved uncle to his many nieces and nephews, who remember their 'special times' with Uncle Al, especially when he and Allyne visited them all over the world. Al was born in Rosengart, Manitoba to Herman and Mary Isaak (deceased). He worked many interesting and diverse jobs as a young adult, from driving taxis to and from the train station in Thompson, Manitoba, to helping companies with their books. He would always work where he was most needed. Throughout his life, he attended many colleges and universities in order to achieve his goals. He received his designation as an accountant in 1973 and worked with a number of companies, always improving his title each time he made a change. He also sat on many boards as a consultant. Al was so thrilled when he met the love of his life in 1967 that he married her only four months later. Al and Allyne have been described as being attached at the hip. There was no Al without Allyne, and vice versa. The joy of their lives was the appearance of their boys, followed by their grandchildren. They also loved to travel and spent many happy hours on the road enjoying time together, especially after Al's retirement in 1999.
