Renato Ventura

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Renato Ventura, who departed this life on September 5, 2026, at the age of 79. Born on September 3, 1947, in Vaughan, Ontario, Renato is remembered for his warmth and thoughtfulness, leaving a profound impact on all who knew him. He was predeceased by his parents, Giuseppe and Domenica. Renato is survived by his beloved wife, Josie; his children, Alexandra (the late Adam) and Ellenora 'Ellie' (Michael); his cherished grandchildren, Eva and Marcus; and his sister, Christina (the late Pat). He also leaves behind extended family and many friends. Visitation will take place on September 14, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Vescio Funeral Home, Woodbridge Chapel. A funeral Mass will be held on September 15, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Brampton Civic Hospital Oncology/Palliative Care Department.
