Maria Comisso

Maria Comisso of Vaughan, Ontario, passed away on August 31, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on May 18, 1935, she is fondly remembered by her family and friends. Maria is survived by her beloved husband, Beniamino, and her children, Marco and Nadia (Piero). She was a cherished grandmother to Alessia, Christian (Jessica), Matthew, and Daniella (John), and is also survived by her siblings, Clara, Ennio, Peppino, and Lino. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Vescio Funeral Home's Woodbridge Chapel, located at 8101 Weston Rd, Woodbridge, ON L4L 1A6. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 9:30 AM at St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, 150 St Francis Ave, Vaughan, ON L4H 2A2. In memory of Maria, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
