Giovanni Di Gennaro

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Giovanni Di Gennaro of Vaughan, Ontario, who departed this life on October 3, 2026, at the age of 88. Giovanni was born on February 16, 1938. He is predeceased by his parents, Guerino and Giulia. Giovanni is survived by his wife Maria, as well as his siblings Francesco, Maria, Pasquale, Gino, and Inglesina. He leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends who will remember him for his warmth and thoughtfulness. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Vescio Funeral Home 'Woodbridge Chapel' located at 8101 Weston Rd, Woodbridge, ON L4L1A6. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. David's Roman Catholic Church, 2601 Major MacKenzie Dr W, Maple, ON L6A1C6. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the Canadian Cancer Society.
