Filomena Genua

Filomena Genua of Vaughan, Ontario, passed away on October 5, 2026, at the age of 87. Born on March 21, 1939, Filomena was a beloved member of her family and community. She is survived by her children, Mary, Ralph (Maria), and Alfredo (Richard), her granddaughter Isabella, her siblings Guerino and Raffaele, her parents Maria Domenica and Alfredo, and her brother Alfonso. Visitation was held on Friday, October 9, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Vescio Funeral Home, located at 211 McNaughton Rd E, Maple, ON L6A4E2. A funeral service took place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the same location. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation, The Kidney Foundation of Canada, and the Canadian Cancer Society – Breast Cancer Research in memory of Filomena (Conte) Genua.
