Antonia Tauro

Antonia Tauro of Vaughan, Ontario, passed away on June 9, 2026, at the age of 97. Born on March 13, 1929, she is survived by her husband Vincenzo Tauro, and her children Lucia, Giuseppe, Maria (Francesco), Angela (Antonio), and Francesco (Mirella). She is also survived by her grandchildren Antonio (Laurie), Tracy (Victor), Giuseppe (Sabrina), Pat (Lesley), Rosemary (Mario), Vicki (Silvano), Antonella (Anthony), Anna (Massimo), Peter (Christina), Vince (Lisa), Loredanna (Chris), Vincenzo, Anthony (Christina), Matthew, Christopher (Victoria), Joshua, Vanessa, Tristan, Mikayla, Marco, Giulianne, Alessia, Andrew, Dante, Sydney, Mia Christina, Isabella, Mia Marie, Thierry, Nico, Franco, and Ava, as well as her great-grandchild Joshua. Antonia was predeceased by her daughter Serafina (Gennaro) and her grandchild Luca. Visitation was held at the Vescio Funeral Home 'Woodbridge Chapel' on Sunday, June 21st, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, June 22nd, 2026, at 9:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church. The family has chosen to send donations to the Canadian Cancer Society and the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
