Almerigo Borgo

Almerigo Borgo passed away peacefully on July 16, 2026, at the age of 95. Born on March 30, 1931, in Mosson, Veneto, Italy, he lived a long and fulfilling life devoted to his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary, and their children, Almerigo J. (Rosanna), William (Gabriele), Louis (predeceased by Michelina), Albert (Gabriella), Angela, and Joseph (Sangeetha). He was a proud Nonno to Alex (Rachelle), William (Melissa), Krystina (Ryan), Matthew, Andrew (Marina), Mark (Mary), Alessia (Ryan), Daniella, Anjali, Lucas, and Joseph, and an adoring Bisnonno to Benson, Adelynn, Wesley, Nicholas, Enzo, Mikayla, Gia, Jordan, and Cara. Almerigo will be dearly missed by his siblings, Antonio, Giorgio, Marilena, and Anna, and sisters-in-law, Enrica and Brenda. He is predeceased by his parents, Guglielmo and Angela, and siblings, Lorenzo, Silvano, and Frank. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel on Friday, July 17, 2026, from 2-5 and 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 18th, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Padre Pio Parish, followed by private entombment. In memory of Almerigo, donations may be made to St. Vincent De Paul online or through physical donation envelopes available at Vescio Funeral Home and St. Padre Pio Parish.
