Gerald Joseph Dignan (Gerry)

Gerald Joseph Dignan, known to many as Gerry, passed away on July 21, 2026, at the age of 88, at his home in Burnaby, surrounded by his loving wife Dolores. He is predeceased by his siblings Ralph H Dignan, Mary Jane Furanna, Elizabeth Steel, and Edward Philip II. Gerry will be deeply missed by his 14 nieces and nephews, their children and grandchildren, as well as Dolores' three granddaughters, who affectionately knew him as 'Pappy'. A Celebration of Life will be held in London, Ontario, on September 20, and another will take place in Burnaby, BC, at a later date. Gerry will be laid to rest at St Peter's Cemetery in London on September 21, 2026.
