Edith Skinner

Edith Skinner, a resident of Uxbridge, Ontario, died on August 17, 2026, at the age of 90. She was born on March 30, 1936. Edith is survived by her children Gary Melanson, married to Maria; Jody Melanson, married to Kelly; and Trisha Labrie, married to Ray, as well as her sister Joan Marshall, married to Peter, and numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Visitation was held at M. W. Becker Funeral Home, 490 The Queensway South, Keswick, ON, on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and again from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A funeral service took place on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at the same location. In her memory, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of York Region are requested.
