Johannes LAMERS passed away on February 17, 2026, at the age of 95. He was the beloved husband of Anneliese for 63 years, loving father to Rob, Hans, Liz, and Alexandra, cherished grandfather of Pauline, Alisha, Jonathan, and Zuza, great-grandfather to Theodore, Nicholas, Marshall, and Audrey, and dear brother of Rose, Cor, Harrie, Agnes, Marie, Jan, and Roos. Visitation will be held at P.X. Dermody Funeral Home, 796 Upper Gage Ave., in Hamilton on Sunday, March 1, from 12:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Raphael Parish, 4072 New St., Burlington, ON, with the funeral also being livestreamed on the St. Raphael website.
