KOJI KARI

Koji Kari, of Unionville, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2026, at the age of 92 years. Koji was born on December 1, 1933, to Tokiyoshi and Fujiye Kariatsumari. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Kari, and son, Ryan Kari, predeceased by his son Mark Kari. Koji is also survived by his sisters, Yoko Nishimura, Heidi Oishi, Jan Okamura, and Irene Karia, predeceased by her sister Mary Huumonen. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Highland Funeral Home – Scarborough Chapel on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at 1 p.m. ET. In lieu of flowers and koden, donations may be made to Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice.
