Douglas Alfred George "Doug" WINSTANLEY

Douglas Alfred George 'Doug' Winstanley was born in Oshawa on August 7, 1935. He passed away peacefully while surrounded by family on Monday, July 14, 2025, at the age of 89, at Trent Valley Lodge Nursing Home in Trenton. He was the son of the late William Winstanley and Beatrice Winstanley (nee Willoughby). Doug was the beloved husband of 68 years to Sheila Winstanley (nee Blakely). He was a loving father to the late William Winstanley, Douglas Winstanley, Sandra Francescone, and Christopher Winstanley. Doug was a proud grandfather to eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother, Gordon Winstanley. In honour of Doug's wishes, cremation has taken place. Inurnment will take place at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Campbellford at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to a Charity of Your Choice would be appreciated by the family. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Quinte Cremation Services.
