Joesph Rodolphe Burke

Joseph Burke, born on May 2, 1930, in Tracadie, New Brunswick, passed away on April 18, 2026, at the age of 95. He was predeceased by his wife, Rosemarie Burke. Joe is survived by Fred Unternahrer and his wife Cindy, and Monica Cameron. He was a fun-loving Grandpapa to Aaron and Marlo Cameron, Krysta Unternahrer, and Michael and Trevor Long. Joe was the longest serving member of Local 793, Operating Engineers, and enjoyed operating cranes. He also sold and serviced farm equipment, drove large machinery for Sandercock Construction, and drove transport for Bulk Carriers. Born and raised in Tracadie, Joe left at 15 to work in bush camps and mines before moving to Ontario. He was known for his colourful personality, storytelling, and love of cards.
