WILLIAM WILSON

William Wilson passed peacefully on June 4, 2026. He is survived by his beloved wife, Dorothy, his stepdaughter, Bonnie, and sister-in-law, Kay, who was predeceased by her husband, Robert. William spent 42 years with the Toronto Police Service, where he met his wife, Dorothy, a crime reporter at the Toronto Star, while he was a member of the elite Toronto Police Hold Up Squad. The two were married for 22 years. William enjoyed coaching the Toronto Police Service Amateur Athletics Association and led numerous track teams to victory. He retired as Detective Sergeant at the 41 division in 1992. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 17th at 2:00 p.m. at Armour Heights Presbyterian Church, 105 Wilson Avenue.
