WILLIAM "BILL" ROBERT HARRON

WILLIAM 'BILL' ROBERT HARRON passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at the age of 92. He was the devoted husband of 65 years to Patricia Harron (Speed). Bill was the beloved father to Heather (Bill), Janet (Liam), and Christine. He was a proud grandfather to Andrew (Cori), Matthew (Heather), and Isobel (Jacob), and a beaming great-grandfather to Owen (Andrew) and Brody (Matthew). Born on November 6, 1933, in Toronto, Ontario, Bill was a lover of life. He was the loving son to William and Alpha Harron, and the loving older brother to Helen, Maureen, and Tommy, all of whom predeceased him. He was also the brother-in-law to the late Doug Gurr (Helen) and Gilbert Jones (Maureen). A memorial to his life will be held on Sunday, June 14th, at McDougall & Brown Funeral Home – Scarborough Chapel, 2900 Kingston Road. Visitation will take place from 1:30 to 2 p.m., followed by a memorial service from 2 to 3 p.m., and a celebration of life/open house from 3 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the SHN Foundation at www.shnfoundation.ca/lovescarborough.
