WANDA NORTH TRIMBLE
Wanda Trimble (nee Williams), born on August 9, 1921, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026, at the age of 104. A proud Australian and Canadian, Wanda is reunited with her husband, Desmond (predeceased 2013), her sister Gabrielle (predeceased 1997), and her brother Barry (predeceased 2013). Throughout her extraordinary life, she traveled extensively, visiting six continents and witnessing the procession of Queen Elizabeth II to her coronation in 1953. After settling in Toronto, she earned a BA from the University of Toronto and taught high school English for 30 years, retiring from Central Technical School in 1985. Wanda was an active supporter of her church and various charities, and she enjoyed playing contract bridge, Scrabble, and Sudoku. Known as Auntie Bob to her nieces and nephews, she was cherished by friends and family alike. In her memory, the family requests donations to a favorite charity.
