Wanda Curran-Trainor

The family announces the passing of Wanda Curran-Trainor of Toronto, Ontario, on October 19, 2026, at the age of 87. Born on October 1, 1939, Wanda was a beloved member of her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Basil. Wanda is survived by her children, Ruby Cappuccitti (Michael), David Curran (the late Mary), Brian Curran (Renata), and Dianne Curran (Martin Rombout). She will be missed by her grandchildren, Dylan, James, Steven, Christine, Jake, and Kyle, as well as her great-grandchild, Dean. Visitation will take place on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ward Funeral Home - Weston Chapel, located at 2035 Weston Rd, Toronto, ON M9N1X7. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church - Weston, located at 49 George St, Toronto, ON M9N2B4. Following the service, a burial will occur on the same day from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Glenview Memorial Gardens, located at 7541 Hwy 50, Woodbridge, ON L4H4W7. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
