Volodymyr was born in Kharkiv, Ukraine. He is survived by his daughter, Alla Antonevich; granddaughter, Anastasiya Antonevich; and great-granddaughter, Alexandra Postel. He was predeceased by his wife, Anastasiya Matushenko. A celebration of life was held on June 14, 2026, at Cardinal Funeral Home, in Toronto, Ontario.
