Violet Ruth Hand

Violet Ruth Hand, a resident of Toronto, Ontario, passed away on August 23, 2026, at the age of 93. She was born on February 3, 1933. Violet is survived by her husband John, her child Glenn (partner Kimberley Briggs), grandchildren Aidan and Charlotte, her parents Robert and Jean Morrow, and siblings Earl, Allister, Claire, Grant, Audrey and Anna. She was predeceased by no one listed. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Humphrey Funeral Home A. W. Miles - Newbigging Chapel Ltd., 1403 Bayview Avenue, Toronto, ON M4S2N4. The funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Lawrence Park Community Church, 2180 Bayview Avenue, North York, ON M4N3K7.
