Ventura Marto

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ventura Marto, who departed this life on September 19, 2026, at the age of 87. Ventura will be fondly remembered by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate to know him. He is survived by his beloved wife, Jane; daughters Liza Ewing (Paul) and Julie Pilato (Angelo); grandchildren Tyler Terry (Jennifer), Jessica (Hunter), Marco (Leia), Selena (Nathan), and Aleixia (Paul); and great-grandchildren Amelia and Alaina. Ventura's warmth and kindness touched many lives, and his absence will be deeply felt. Visitation will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, both at Ward Funeral Home - Weston Chapel, located at 2035 Weston Rd, Toronto, ON M9N1X7.
