SUE KORMENDY

Sue Kormendy, of Toronto, passed away on April 24, 2026, at the age of 73. She was born on a farm near Blenheim, Ontario to Slovak immigrants, Sofia and Stefan Kormendy. Sue was predeceased by her parents, her brother Michael and his wife Diana, her nephews Mark and Kevin, and her brother-in-law Michael Provart. She is survived by her sister and best friend, Anne Provart, and her brother Joe and his wife Brenda, as well as her nieces and nephews Denise, Jeannine, Michael, Nicholas, Philip, John, Catherine, and Chris, and their children. A celebration of life ceremony was held at Cardinal Funeral Home. The family would like to thank the staff at Princess Margaret Hospital for their care during the course of Sue's illness.
