STANLEY M. GARDEN

Stanley M. Garden passed away on April 25, 2026, at the age of 92. Born in Toronto on July 8, 1933, he was the beloved son of the late Jack and Lily Weingarten. He is predeceased by his siblings Leonard, Connie, Evelyn, and Joy. Stanley will be missed by his nieces and nephews, Barry Wasserzug and his wife Jet, David and his wife Leah, Gary and his wife Elise, Lori and her husband Tom Holiff, and Janet Trachter. He is also survived by his great-nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Joshua, and Shira Wasserzug, Jacqui, Kelly, and Alex Holiff, as well as his great-great-nieces and nephew, Adele Panduki, Ava, Lilia, Nora, and Lucy Grinhaus, and Leo and Izzy Holiff. Stanley's dearest friend, Heather Holden, was a true blessing in his life. He was involved in sports and real estate development for most of his life and was known for being kind, passionate, and caring deeply about people. The family would like to extend their gratitude to his PSW caregiver and friend, Robert Hueston, and the outstanding care from the 5A team of Toronto General Hospital.
