Shirley Gail Carmichael

The family of Shirley Gail Carmichael announces her passing on September 20, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on October 15, 1934, in Verdun, Québec, Shirley was a cherished member of her community and family. She was predeceased by her husband, Oliver, as well as her parents, Andy and Sybil Lowson, and her brothers, Cliff (Barb), Jim (Jo), and Stu. Shirley is survived by her children, Doug (Beth), Janet (Ken), Susan (Dan), and Laurie (Rich), along with her beloved grandchildren, Hailey, Morgan, Simon, Evelyn, Finlay, and Frances. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Nourish East End.
