Sandra Margaret Gentles, also known as Sandy, passed away on March 31, 2026, at the age of 84, surrounded by her sons, Peter and Stephen Gentles, and brother, Stephen Jack, at Hennick Bridgepoint Hospital. Born on February 22, 1942, in London, Ontario, to Carol Sanderson and Gordon Jack, she spent her childhood in Arva, Ontario. Sandra is survived by her sons, Peter and Stephen; brother, Stephen Jack; grandchildren, Eliot, Catherine, Rowan, and Andrew; daughter-in-law, Erin Kennedy; nieces, Naomi, Melanie, and Linton; and her close friends from U of T and Roselawn Avenue. A Memorial Service will be held at the Morley Bedford Funeral Home, 159 Eglinton Avenue West, Toronto, on Saturday, May 9th, at 12 p.m.
