Rosa Maria Christina Pestrak

The family of Rosa Maria Christina Pestrak announces her passing on September 18, 2026, at the age of 89, at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto after a prolonged battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Rosa, beloved mother and grandmother, is survived by her children, Alexander Duncan Pestrak, Gregory Stuart Pestrak (Sheryl), and Nadia Maria Pestrak, as well as her grandsons, Zachary, Oscar, Rafael, Tristan, and Sebastian. She is also survived by her siblings, Maruja Jackman (Hal) and James Stuart Duncan (Nancy). Rosa will be remembered for the joy she brought to those around her and the lasting bonds she created throughout her life.
