ROBERT JAMES NICHOLLS

Robert James Nicholls passed away on January 31, 2026, at the age of 96. Born in Toronto in 1929, he was the son of Eleanor Nicholls (née Otter) and Worthy Nicholls. He was the beloved husband of Ruth (née Marlow) for 70 years and the loving father to Brian (Donna), Paul (Judy), and Barbara (late Ray Codère). He was also the proud grandfather of Diana, Leah, and Ethan. Robert was predeceased by his brother, Edward, and his sister, Ruth (Moore). He worked briefly at Imperial Oil before joining Simpson-Sears, where he worked for 30 years before retiring. Robert was a long-time member of the Jubilee United Church and the Parkwoods Civitan Club. A celebration of life for Robert will be held at 11 a.m. on March 14, 2026, at Jubilee United Church, 40 Underhill Drive, Toronto.
