Richard Ratcliffe

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Ratcliffe, who departed this life on September 30, 2026, at the age of 98. Born on June 16, 1928, in Haileybury, Ontario, Richard was a beloved husband to Patricia and a cherished father to Deb (the late Wilbert), Rick (Deborah), and Stephanie (Joey). He was a proud grandfather to Erin, Patrick (Marc), Emily, Cate, and Joe, and a great-grandfather to Catrina, Neo, Demitra, and Lilly, as well as a great-great-grandfather to Dylan, Silas, and Milo. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at DeMarco Funeral Home, located at 3725 Keele St, North York, ON M3J1N4. The family expresses their gratitude for the exceptional care provided by the LFSE staff and Dr. Hung, and they invite donations to the Veterans Comfort Fund and St. Andrew's Anglican Church in Wallace in Richard's memory.
