Richard Metcalfe

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Metcalfe, who resided in Toronto, Ontario. Richard was born on July 29, 1931, and he departed this life on October 6, 2026, at the age of 95. He is survived by his beloved wife, Dorothy (Dot), and his children, Brian (Fern), Karen, and Cheryl. Richard will be remembered fondly by family, friends, and acquaintances for his warmth and thoughtfulness. Visitation will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McDougall & Brown Funeral Home, Scarborough Chapel, located at 2900 Kingston Rd, Scarborough, ON M1M1N5. A memorial service will follow from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. Richard will be laid to rest during a burial service on the same day from 2:30 PM to 3:15 PM at the Cremated Remains Pine Hills Cemetery, situated at 625 Birchmount Rd, Scarborough, ON M1K1R1. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Richard.
