Rajko Bakalic

Rajko Bakalic of Toronto, Ontario, passed away on September 16, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on May 26, 1935, he is fondly remembered by family and friends. Rajko was predeceased by his parents, Luje (Vjekoslav) and Antica, as well as his siblings, Krasna, Borko, and Velimir. He is survived by his wife, Marija; his children, Anton and Anica (Drago Radić); his siblings, Divna and Davor; and his grandchildren, Marina and Adrian. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Jerrett Funeral Homes, located at 1141 St Clair Ave W, Toronto, ON M6E1B1. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at Our Lady Queen of Croatia Church, 7 Croatia St, Toronto, ON M6H4B2. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Covenant House in Rajko's memory.
