PETER MURPHY CHAMBERLAIN

Peter Murphy Chamberlain, son of Murph and Peggy Chamberlain, passed away on April 24, 2026, at the age of 86. Born in Toronto on June 21, 1939, he was raised on the family farm in St. Sebastien, QC. Peter led a hardscrabble life and later became a successful businessman. He loved the outdoors, his family, his dogs, and most of all, his wife of 40 years, Charlene. The family would like to extend warm thanks to the staff at the Newmarket Health Centre for the years of care, both for Peter and before him, his mother. A luncheon will be held at the Taylor Funeral Home, Newmarket, on Wednesday, May 6th, at noon.
