PETER KEITH HYDE

Peter 'Keith' Hyde passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026. He was the beloved husband and best-friend of Petra Polomski. He was the adoring father of Michael, Stephanie, Madelene, and Jenna, and the loving grandparent of LJ. He was predeceased by his parents, Isobel and Peter Hyde. Keith devoted over 35 years to Brookfield as a chartered accountant and served as the Senior Vice President of Taxation in his final years before retirement. He was deeply dedicated to community sports, volunteering for many years as coach and treasurer for the Beaches Soccer League and Scarborough Sharks Girls Hockey Association. A private burial has taken place for Keith to rest with his parents in Cambridge. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 19th from 4 - 7 p.m. at the Toronto Beach Club. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Trinity College Chapel at the University of Toronto.
