PATRICK JOHN DOTY

Patrick John Doty passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, in his 92nd year, at the age of 91. He died peacefully at home, surrounded by his two sons, Stephen and Mark, and his daughter-in-law, Jane. Patrick will be deeply missed by many, including Stephen, Mark, Jane, and his two loving grandchildren, Amelia and Eden. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Ginny, of over 58 years, as well as his 13 siblings, and is survived by a blessing of nieces, nephews, sisters- and brothers-in-law. Born and residing in Toronto throughout his life, Patrick started his own successful medical supply business and spent many happy days at the Donalda Golf Club with family and friends. A devout Catholic and parishioner at St. Bonaventure Church, Patrick's Funeral Mass will take place at St. Bonaventure Church, 1300 Leslie St., in North York, on Monday, March 16, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. A private burial will take place at a later date, following cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name are welcomed to the North York General Hospital Freeman Centre for Palliative Care or the Edwin S.H. Leong Geriatric Supportive Care Outreach Program.
