PATRICK JOHN DOTY

Patrick John Doty passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, in his 92nd year, at the age of 91. He passed away peacefully at home, supported by his two sons, Stephen and Mark, and his daughter-in-law, Jane. Pat was exceptional in his ability to connect and care for others, anywhere he went, and was keenly interested in their stories and lives. He will be deeply missed by many, including Stephen, Mark, Jane and his two loving grandchildren, Amelia and Eden. Pat was predeceased by his beloved wife, Ginny, of over 58 years, with whom he was anxious to be reunited. Pat was also predeceased by his 13 siblings and had a blessing of nieces, nephews, sisters- and brothers-in-law. Born and residing throughout his life in Toronto, Pat started his own successful medical supply business and spent many happy days at the Donalda Golf Club with family and friends. He was a devout Catholic and parishioner at St. Bonaventure Church. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name are welcomed to the North York General Hospital Freeman Centre for Palliative Care or the Edwin S.H. Leong Geriatric Supportive Care Outreach Program at 416-756-6944, who provided excellent care and support to Pat and his family in his final days as did his entire health care team. Funeral Mass will take place at St. Bonaventure Church, 1300 Leslie St., in North York, on Monday, March 16, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. Private burial to take place at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
