Olga Belle Franczak

It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Olga Belle Franczak in Toronto, Ontario. Olga was born on July 7, 1938, and she passed away on October 14, 2026, at the age of 88. She was predeceased by her husband, Edwin John Franczak; her children, Michael (Monique), Stephen (Nancy), and Susan; as well as her parents of Scottish and Slovak descent. Olga is survived by her sister, Sonja Bowden; her brothers-in-law, Henry, Donald (Monica), and Richard; and her nieces and nephews, Cindy (Craig), Wendy, Mark (Rose), Philip (Jen), David (Tara), Alexa, Brian, and Andrew. Visitation will take place on Sunday, October 25, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the McDougall & Brown Funeral Home Scarborough Chapel, located at 2900 Kingston Rd, Scarborough, ON M1M1N5. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 26, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Justin Martyr Parish, located at 3898 Highway No. 7 East, Unionville, ON L3R1L3. Following the Mass, a burial will take place on the same day from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, located at 8361 Yonge St, Thornhill, ON L3T2C7. Olga faced challenges after the loss of Ed in 2010, and when the family home became too much to manage, she moved to Presentation Manor in 2020, just as the Covid pandemic began. In accordance with Olga's wishes, donations may be made to the Michael Garron Hospital Foundation.
