Nicola Mariotti

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nicola Mariotti, who resided in Toronto, Ontario. Nicola was born on December 2, 1931, and he departed this life on October 18, 2026, at the age of 94. He was predeceased by his parents, Emidio and Fernanda Mariotti, as well as his brother-in-law, Lorenzo. Nicola is survived by his beloved wife, Lucia; his son, Emidio; his daughter-in-law, Liliana; and his cherished grandchildren, Julia, Juan Martin, Nadia, Zane, Sarah, and Marco. He also leaves behind his great-grandchild, Juan Emidiano; his siblings, Giuseppe (Rolanda), Ercole (Ada), Maddalena, and Emilia; his sister-in-law, Sandra; and numerous nieces and nephews, including Phillip, Mary Staibano, Joanna Mariotti, Tony Mariotti, Nanda, Blake Soutar, Maurizio, Sue Mariotti, Augustino, Elisa Cherubini, Daniela, Nazareno Pietrucci, George, Sandra Sabatino-Buldo, Laura, and Lorenzo Accettola. Visitation will take place on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vescio Funeral Home 'Toronto' Chapel, located at 2080 Dufferin St, York, ON M6E3R7. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 9:45 AM at St. Matthew Church, situated at 706 Old Weston Rd, Toronto, ON M6N3B8. Following the Mass, a funeral service will be held at St. Matthew's Roman Catholic Church at 10:00 AM on the same day. The family welcomes flowers and condolences in memory of Nicola.
