Mr Felix Arulnayagam Christopher (Aras)

Felix Arulnayagam (Aras) Christopher, a cherished husband, father, engineer, and community leader, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2026, at the age of 83. Born in Jaffna, Sri Lanka, he was the son of Arulanandam and Annama Francispillai Christopher. Felix's journey took him from Sri Lanka to the UK, Canada, and the USA, where he played a pivotal role in assisting many to relocate. A graduate of St. Benedicts College and Technical College in Colombo, he began his career at Bruel and Kjaer before founding West Caldwell Calibration Labs, which expanded internationally. Married to Ranee Christopher since March 6, 1974, he was a devoted father to Dawn and Neil. Felix actively contributed to the NJ Tamil Sangam, promoting Tamil heritage. Despite being diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in 2010, he remained dedicated to his family and community.
