She was predeceased by her husband, Wallace Watson; her daughter, Wendy; her siblings, Doris (Gilbert), Shirley (Leslie), and Ronald (Shirl); and her parents, Frederick Hill and Phyllis Hill. Melba is survived by her son, Wallace (Wendy-Anne); her grandchildren, Kim (Sam), Peter, Jennifer (Rob), and Wallace (Sigrun); her nephews, David, Richard, Peter, and Grant; her niece, Dorothy; and her ten great-grandchildren.
