Mary CARD

Mary Margaret Card passed away peacefully on May 16, 2026, at the age of 79, in Toronto, the city where she was born on May 5, 1947. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Jean (Truscott) Card, and by her sister-in-law, Helen (Perkin) Card. Mary is survived and dearly missed by her brother, Robert, and his children and grandchildren. She is also sorely missed by her network of friends made while residing in Hamilton, Kingston, Sydenham, and Toronto. Mary had an exemplary career as a Toronto high school teacher at Monarch Park Collegiate and Riverdale Collegiate, retiring from full-time teaching in 2015. In Mary's memory, donations to the Toronto Commandery Hospice or a charity of your choice would be welcome. A celebration of life will occur at a later date.
