MARY AGNES MANZ

Mary Agnes Manz passed away peacefully on Monday, May 25, 2026, at Sunnybrook Hospital. She is survived by her devoted husband, Richard, her dedicated son, Paul, and her caring daughter-in-law, Elif. Mary was a loving daughter, now reunited with her dear parents, William and Patricia Comper. She was also a devoted sister and was the eldest of 'The Original Six.' Mary leaves her cherished siblings, Kitty, Frances, Joe, and Margaret. She was predeceased by her brother, John, her brother-in-law, Neil, and her sister-in-law, Eleanor. Mary was a proud aunt who loved all of her nieces and nephews and was delighted to be a great-aunt. She was married to Richard Manz for 57 years and shared a life of respect and support with him. Mary and Richard were blessed to share their life and love with their son, Paul Manz. Mary was an intensely devoted and loving mother who put her entire heart and soul into motherhood. She had a special bond with her daughter-in-law, Elif. Mary worked as an X-Ray Technician at Toronto's East General Hospital and concluded her career at Providence Health Care, where she ran the Radiology Department and was the sole X-Ray Technician on site. Mary is now reunited with one of her oldest and dearest friends, Sheila Goodman.
